Teachers Day

We arrived to school at around 5:30 just to prepare our suprise for our Adviser, Ms. Jay Ann. Decorating the room with balloons. We absolutely tried to decorate our classroom before our Adviser arrived, this was a race before time, hurrying to get everything done while still making it beautiful and presentable. This was the least we could do for ma'am, as she has done everything for us and provided us with things we need. Teachers Day is the day to celebrate our teachers after all.

What we can say about our experience so far

Some have viewed HUMSS strand as the easiest academic strand since they specialised subjects that might seem easy. Their might be people who think this strand is easy, but for us it's definitely not easy, as this strand challenges and makes some of us experience things that are not in their comfort zone. We have experience thing that we sometimes thought was embarrassing but the process was enjoyable and fun. Not only in events but sometimes regular classes are also fun to listen to. Though being able to learn about different cultures without even intersecting with them personally is really fascinating. We get to understand their different beliefs and traditions, which can be sometimes boring.

The memorable Christmas Party 💚

Our memorable Christmas party We played games, show caused their talents on singing. Once those where done we ate our snacks, and all of a sudden everyone was smearing icing on each other, chasing each other, laughter and screams filled the classroom. In the end, some where completely covered while the others not so much. Once that was over we exchanged our gifts, and even got a present from Ma'am as well. Not long after we ended our party and clean up our mess.

Why did we choose HumanitiesandSocialStudies

This strand helps us acquire communication skills and become a person who can play an active role in society. This strand also helps me learn to analyze and express opinions logically, learn how to communicate ideas, make direct contact with new people as HUMSS education is an excellent way to boost your emotional intelligence. Not only does this helps with our analyzing and communication skills but this helps us get closer to our dreams.
